The other day, Owen "took care of some business" on the potty. He stood up, peeked back into the bowl, and proudly announced "Look mommy. That's a big crap." It was a total shock to hear him say that, and I had a pretty good laugh about it! We certainly don't encourage language like that, but from time to time it's funny to hear some of the things that come out of Owen's mouth. I don't freak out about it.
In other Owen news, he's starting swim lessons up again soon. He's also been asking to go back to gymnastics so we'll look at doing that as well. After lots of thought, we decided against preschool this year, mainly because of several scheduling conflicts that would likely take place. We'll definitely put Owen in preschool next year to help prepare him for kindergarten, but for now we'll keep him busy with his YMCA activities and will keep working with him at home. He's been learning letter sounds and is even beginning to recognize a few words. Such a smart boy!
