Pizza Night

Not a lot going on in 2011 so far. Other than a trip to Mt Rainier to do some sledding on the 2nd, we haven't been up to much. It's been nice to just hang out at home.

Owen has been very interested in the kitchen lately and has been wanting to help with food preparation. So tonight, I decided that it would be fun for Owen to make his own pizza. I've worked on my homemade pizza recipe for the past few years and came close to perfection a few months ago. I'm still tweaking a couple of things. Anyway, Chris and Owen had fun working on their pizzas together.

And earlier today, Owen decorated cookies. He did a great job, despite consuming half of the M&Ms.
Logan is still motoring all over the house and his favorite activity is hustling up the stairs as soon as we turn our backs. A gate won't work on our staircase so we stick the playpan in front of it, but the stinker just pulls out of the way. He's more confident when he stands up and is starting to let go of the furniture for a few seconds. His legs aren't strong enough to take any steps yet.

So that's it. One kid loves the kitchen and the other loves the stairs. Why do we bother with toys?

How fun is this? Those photos are so darned cute and precious! I love the way Chris plays with the kids and helps out. Mandy, you are a good mom and wife. Not a bad daughter, either ;-)
PS Love Chris' sweatshirt!!
