Cabin Party

Last weekend we headed up to the family cabin to do some spring cleaning. Several of my cousins showed up (we were missing Tracy, and Laura was on a very last-minute cruise to Alaska). And 13 of the 16 Kreuger great-grandkids were there. Ana was the oldest at age 11 and Logan, 2, was the youngest. It was a riot (in a good way)!

The adults did various cleaning and minor repair projects. Chris and I scouted out logs for the new woodshed and dragged them back. That was a lot of work. Later this summer we'll head back with my dad and build the frame.

Owen and Logan had so much fun with all their cousins. We don't get together with this side of the family as often as we should. Colleen's youngest daughter Brooke really took a liking to Owen and the two of them became glued at the hip. When it was picture time, Owen kept putting his arm around her. It was so cute!

The weather was amazing (80 degrees in the Cascades.. doesn't get much better than that!) and we hope to head up again soon and stay for a few days.
