Hospital - Feb 4

Morning update: Fuzzy picture from a couple hours ago... More breathing treatment for Logan. Fever is up and down and pulse is still very high (180-200). He finally drank a little milk and used the potty! They just brought the tiniest wheelchair in to his room and he will head out soon for a chest X-ray (looking for pneumonia). 

Evening update: We've been here 24 hours now and Logan's still having a hard time with his breathing. His fever is back but since he's resting well, we're going without Tylenol for now to allow his body to fight the virus. His pulse has lowered to 150-160 which is great compared to earlier. He's still not interested in drinking but the IV is keeping him hydrated. Chest X-ray was clear!

So tonight's goal is rest. Tomorrow's goal is drinking on his own. 

Thanks again for the well wishes. This is hard.. And the pediatric unit is depressing. I gave Chris the green light to go to work tonight so it's just Logan and me tonight!
