Safeway has amazing strawberries right now, even though they were grown in CA. (Everyone knows the BEST berries grow in the Puyallup Valley!) So I decided that chocolate-covered strawberries were necessary. I'd planned on making fancy ones, but Owen wanted to help so I settled on... oh let's say... messy ones.I have to say, he didn't do bad. He went nice and slow and if anything, he didn't put enough chocolate on. I figured he'd use way too much, since kids are all about using more than necessary :)
Chris and I had the best laugh over this one: the chocolate-covered stem.
Owen loves strawberries and chocolate, but he didn't seem to like them together. So he licked the chocolate off and then ate the berry. What a goof-ball!
