Photo Seminar

My friend Pattie and I attended a fantastic photography seminar on Saturday. We scored a great deal through Groupon so we went for it. It was held at the Museum of Flight and consisted of a four-hour lecture and then two hours doing hands-on work.

This is how we look reflected off the side of a jet. Don't we look professional? And kind of short?

I've never taken any photo classes before, but I've read some wonderful books and have been able to teach myself most of the basics. I'd love to take a class at the community college but it's so hard for me to make that happen with Chris' work schedule. So this seminar was perfect. Of course, now I'd really like to take classes so I can learn even more.

Best part: I loved spending the day with Pattie. I hadn't seen her in a few years but we've kept in regular contact. We're already planning some photo excursions for this spring and summer. Can't wait!
