Santa at Thun Field

We live very close to Thun Field, aka Pierce County Airport. We love it because we see all kinds of really cool planes fly over the house, especially on nice days. We're doing some decal work for one of the businesses at the airport, and they invited us to see Santa arrive in an airplane.

We arrived and Owen was in sensory overload. There are two things that kid loves: airplanes and counting. And there were a lot of airplanes to count.

A small plane was circling the runway for several minutes, and an announcer came on and said it was Santa's plane. Precisely at 11am, the plane landed and Santa came out to greet the crowd.
He went inside and all the kids lined up for pictures. Owen and Logan became pretty shy and didn't have much to say. I expected that from Logan but was surprised that Owen wasn't more excited. Granted, I think Owen just wanted to go back outside and watch the planes. We had fun and I hope they do this again next year.
