First Snow of 2012

It started snowing back on the 15th and it hasn't really stopped since. It seems to be falling at the same rate that it melts, so we've had a pretty constant 3 inches on the ground for a few days now. Although as I type this, it's really coming down and it looks like we've got about 6 inches.

The boys really like the snow. Owen likes making snow angels and laying on his tummy in the sled (with his arms stretched out to the s
ides so he can be a "snow airplane"). And in true Charlie Brown form, he will say "Try to catch snowflakes on your tongue. It's fun!" followed up by "Mmm, needs sugar." And Logan likes the crunching sound his boots make when he walks around, and he's getting good at making snowballs.

Luckily, Logan was a good sport when this happened:
Chris didn't mean to pelt him in the face with a snowball. Logan laughed and thought it was funny. Whew!

It sounds like the snow will stick around a little while longer, so we will enjoy it while it lasts.

(PS Happy Birthday, Laura!)
