The day before Thanksgiving, Owen's preschool class made stone soup. Parents, siblings, and grandparents were asked to attend, and Owen chose to invite Chris and me, Logan, and my mom and sister.
There were many in attendance, and his teacher showed a slideshow with pictures of all the kids and their ingredients. There were no rules on what to bring. Each child simply brought what they wanted to bring. Owen chose to contribute onions, of all things. We had a good giggle over that one because Owen does not like onions at all. Luckily, the kids brought all kinds of different things, and the soup turned out quite well.
We had a nice time! Owen's still loving everything about school and can't wait for kindergarten next fall.
